🌈LED LIGHT THERAPY🌈

▫️By using specific wavelengths of light we can trigger a natural effect in skin tissues
▫️Cells absorb particles of light (protons) and transform their energy into ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the form of energy that our cells use
▫️This results in an increase of ATP which provides compromised cells with added energy to enhance performance
▫️For example: fibroblast cells will increase collagen and elastin production in connective tissue to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and increase the rate of wound healing!

Research has shown that LED light therapy can:

Microneedling can be done at any time of year but the fall 🍂 and winter ❄️ seasons tend to be everyone’s favourite time to book it to treat any sun damage from the previous summer PLUS it limits sun exposure while healing from the microneedling treatment while the UV is low!✨

Are your days of active acne breakouts behind you but you’ve been left with acne scarring you wish wasn’t there?

Hiiiii microneedling!

Hyperpigmentation (red or brown colour changes to the skin) may respond to certain topical creams over time but that won’t address textural changes. Microneedling, also known as ‘collagen induction therapy’, uses tiny needles to pe*****te the outer layer of the skin. By going deeper and allowing our body to respond to this “micro-trauma” by sending collagen, elastin and other nutrients to the area to heal. This helps with textural changes and tone of skin by rebuilding the skin surface from the inside out.

Typically a series of 3-6 microneedling treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is recommended to treat acne scarring.

During a session we insert tiny needles into specific points to cause focused micro traumas to the skin. This signals to the body to send collagen, elastin and other nutrients, boosting blood and Qi flow to the area to heal.
