Bike Fitting
A bike fit session includes an examination of the 3 contact points of the bike (cleats, handlebars, saddle) to determine the optimal fit for the rider. Adjustments include, but are not limited to, saddle height and fore/aft, cockpit length, handlebar drop, and cleat positioning. Furthermore, a general assessment of the body is also performed to identify any strength, biomechanical, or range of motion deficits that can be addressed via an exercise program.
All bikers can benefit, especially those who experience any pain/discomfort while riding, or those who want to maximize performance from their bike.
Make sure to bring your bike in clean and working condition to your appointment. As well as, your cycling attire and shoes (with cleats if you use them). Bike fits are covered by most extended health plans under physiotherapy up to a maximum per service. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to fit triathlon/TT bikes and mountain bikes.
