….Okay final panelist actually for our conference on Friday💚⭐️❤️

Erin Ready (she/her) completed her BSc(Pharm) at the University of Toronto before completing an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency in Vancouver. Erin then worked as a clinical pharmacist at Vancouver General Hospital while pursuing her Masters of Public Health at UBC. In her current role as Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in HIV at St. Paul’s Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor with UBC’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, she provides direct patient care to people living with HIV, serves as a practice educator for pharmacy students and residents, and is actively involvedd in research involving antiretroviral drug-drug interactions. She is passionate about HIV pharmaceutical care and is currently serving as the Chair of the Canadian HIV and Viral Hepatitis Pharmacists Network.

Outside of work, Erin loves running and other outdoor activities. She has run over 10 marathons and ultra-marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2024. She can often be found in the local mountains skiing, mountain biking, or trail running. She is a proud dog mom to Copper.

Zahra grew up in her father’s community pharmacy before pursuing other interests, earning a BSc and an MBA and gaining experience in the pharmaceutical industry and nonprofit sector. She later returned to school as a mature student to complete her PharmD. Today, she is an owner and Director of Pharmacy for her family’s group, Heart Pharmacy and North Island Pharmacy on Vancouver Island. Zahra is a mom to 14 year old twins and a 16 year old, and in her spare time enjoys volunteering and dabbling in art.

Leo is a PharmD and a Medical Science Liaison in Transplant at Sanofi, where he partners with healthcare professionals to support scientific exchange, advance evidence-based practice, and improve outcomes for transplant recipients. In this role, he brings real-world clinical insight to foster meaningful discussions around complications management, long-term graft survival, and optimizing patient care.

Within Medical Affairs, Leo collaborates cross-functionally with clinical development, regulatory, market access, and commercial teams to ensure scientific strategies align with evolving clinical needs. He values the leadership dimension of Medical Affairs, helping shape evidence generation, supporting strategic initiatives, and serving as a trusted scientific partner both internally and externally.

Prior to joining industry, Leo practiced as a pharmacist in both community and hospital settings, gaining a deep understanding of the patient journey across the healthcare system. Drawing from frontline clinical experience, he remains passionate about making a meaningful impact across therapeutic areas, ensuring that scientific innovation translates into tangible improvements in patient outcomes.

Alyssa Low is a pharmacist with a strong passion for providing clinical services and pharmacist consultations in community pharmacy. Graduating from the University of British Columbia (UBC), she currently holds a position at BioPro Biologics Pharmacy, where she actively contributes to improving patient outcomes through her expertise in biologics.

In addition to her role at BioPro Biologic Pharmacy, Alyssa also serves as a Conference Co-Chair at the Clinical Pharmacist Academy, demonstrating her commitment to knowledge sharing and professional development within the pharmacy community. Meet Dr. Leslie Guo! Leslie is a clinical pharmacist at Vancouver general hospital.

She spent 2 years at UofA doing part of an undergrad in pharmacology, then moved to Vancouver and graduated PharmD at UBC in 2024. Leslie then completed her hospital residency training with LMPS which gave her various experiences in many clinical specialties and research. Since finishing residency, she has been working as a clinical pharmacist primarily in lung transplant where she rotates between inpatient and ambulatory practices

Mona Kwong, BSc(Pharm), PharmD, MSc, MPA

Mona started working in a Unipharm location with Ron and Irene Ingraham during her
undergrad and continued to work with the Ingrahams until their retirement in 2020. She has practiced in various areas in pharmacy including hospital, community, industry, policy, and academia. She received a Bachelor’s of Pharmacy and Master’s of Science from UBC, Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida, and a Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University. She has an Industrial Pharmacy Residency certificate from the University of
Toronto. Mona enjoys enhancing the quality of patient care, promoting collaborative inter-professional teams, and is passionate in education (public and peers) and mentorship of junior healthcare professionals and students.

Currently Mona is the Pharmacy Advisor and Director for the Pharmacy Stream of the
Interdisciplinary Addictions Fellowship Program for BC Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU),
clinical pharmacist consultant at Infinity Medical Specialists Clinic, and is the managing partner of an independent pharmacy.

Professionally, she remains involved in various interprofessional groups. She has BCPhA Board
and the College of Pharmacists of BC Board experience, and committee experience with health professional regulatory colleges.
Mona has presented in local, national and international seminars and has received awards for practice, leadership, and research.
