We all get lost in our hoping for the end where the light everyone talks about is. For some, tunnels go on for miles and without support, their trajectory can point away from the light we are so desperately seeking.

I have long believed, that even in my times of hopelessness and darkness I have the power to light up my tunnel, take a look around for the clues success has left and continued on to the light.

This weekend was the first Humanology Partners ; thank you to all of you who showed up.

There were so many incredible takeaways from this first meeting from how we interpret our personal why, how that bleeds into our work life and what happens when why's are out of sync.

Understanding communication is listening and the first person we need to listen to is ourselves.

Ineffective communication gaps lead to more than just a few extra emails.

If fact ineffective communication can be attributed to a number of issues in the workplace such as physical injuries and missed deadlines.

Personally, I think of ineffective communication as poor ergonomics for the brain; you don't mind at first, you find workarounds and before you know it you are avoiding situations because of the mental discomfort.

Having observed the power of effective communication we made it one of the core components of the Green Ribbon Program.

I overheard the other day by the end of summer 2022 there will be over 400 erected in Vancouver. That is a lot of material flying through the air.

In 2007 the Province on BC passed legislation requiring crane operators to be certified. It is estimated over 26,000 operators have been certified since it's launch.

A great career choice that comes with its challenges long hours, working alone in a small space are just a few that come to mind.
