āļø Itās finally feeling like summer!
Every year, I hear people talk about putting their health on pause during these warmer months. And while Iām just as excited as anyone for patio season, here are a few simple things I do to stay feeling my best all summer long:
1. Prioritize movement. Beach lounging is greatābut so are hiking, biking, swimming, paddleboarding, and pickleball. Whatever your vibe, aim to move your body daily!
2. Donāt forget electrolytes. Hot weather + activity + alcohol = higher risk of dehydration. If youāre sweating, add electrolytes to your water to help stay balanced.
3. Eat with the season. Summer produce is bursting with flavor and nutrients. Take advantage of fresh fruits and veggiesāfarmerās markets are your best friend.
4. Be mindful with alcohol. Patio drinks are fun, but moderation matters. Try to plan a few alcohol-free days each week, and keep things balanced on the days you are sipping.
