We believe our employees are our strength. We are fortunate to have on our team, wonderful people who are compassionate, caring and highly professional. Everyone has a role, and ultimately their only goal is looking after our residents, ensuring their safety, and making sure they and their families feel confident in us. We know that moves are difficult for anyone, and more so for seniors, so it’s important to make the process as simple as possible. There are many retirement homes for seniors, so we also know that in order to remain competitive our standards need to be high, and our prices reasonable. We’re looking to the future. We understand that we must continue developing new programs and innovations for a senior population that is growing and changing by the week. It’s an exciting time for seniors. The choices have never been better and the variety of services is constantly improving.

This occasion holds significant importance as we reflect on the sacrifices of veterans and service members who have valiantly defended our freedoms and peace. Across Canada, communities observe this solemn day with ceremonies, moments of silence, and the wearing of poppies, symbolizing remembrance and respect. It is a time to express our gratitude and consider the courage and dedication of those who have served and continue to serve. A high school senior proposed bringing her horses to Williams Lake Seniors Village for her capstone project. As a ranching community, residents from our long-term care, assisted living, and independent living enjoyed feeding the horses and that lovely students intends to return in the spring. Retirement Concepts - Selkirk Seniors Village (Victoria) is conducting virtual interviews on November 6, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for our wonderful community, Selkirk Seniors Village. LMIA and Work Permit candidates are encouraged to apply!

We are providing a $5,000 incentive along with a relocation bonus of up to $3,300 for eligible candidates.
