How you do something is more important than what you are doing.

I don’t care if you can squat deep or stretch your leg to your head if there’s no awareness, no alignment and no feeling.

Many people stretch regularly and still feel tight.

It can be frustrating - especially if you’ve tried yoga, massage, physiotherapy, or stretching routines and your body still feels stuck.

Often the body isn’t lacking flexibility.
It’s protecting something.

When the nervous system senses tension or instability, it may guard certain areas of the body. In those moments, pushing deeper into stretches rarely helps.

At Stretch Space we take a slower approach.

Through gentle assisted stretch therapy, breath, and careful attention to how the body responds, we help the nervous system relax so the body can begin to release naturally.

Many of our clients come to us after trying many other things. What they often discover is that when the body feels safe, it can move very differently.
