The Art Studios was originally created as a program of the regional health authority, (Vancouver Coastal Health). It started in 1992 and was called "Fiddle Faddle Art Centre" until it was named "The Art Studios".
Almost 29 years later, the program continues today under the umbrella of Mood Disorders Association of BC, a branch of Lookout Housing and Health Society.
