As I take respite this winter, I am resourcing on visions of potential , because I have been getting bored of dystopian narratives. I am aware of how positive collective context can support our ability to recover our attention and purpose.
Along those lines.. I suggest looking at the themes of humanity shifting from our individual hero's journey to the kinship journey... the impossible collective journey to mend the crisis of disconnection.
This wonderful discussion below from Samantha Sweetwater bravely addresses the current metacrisis with sensible observations of collective trends.

How do we tend a sense of security in the need for togetherness?
The more safe and sane path is the path we all take together.
How can we really do this?
We can't do that when we bogged down in our separating neuroses. So do the trauma work around catastrophization, depression, etc.
The work is to show up as attuned as possible to the current needs of the time.
Pay attention to your fear, thats your important survival energy to channel and get serious.
Listen to the fear, but have limits so you stay connected, don't wallow in it and let it pull you too far away from your unique role in the tending of collective emergence.
