Although I am not opposed, GI Joe said, "knowing is half the battle", so here are some Cremation facts:

-Each cremation releases between .8 and 5.9 grams of mercury (between 1,000 and 7,800 pounds of mercury each year) as bodies are burned.
-75% goes into the air and the rest settles into the ground and water.
-You could drive about 4,800 miles on the energy equivalent used for one cremation, or a distance to the moon and back 85 times from cremations in one year.

Traditional burial puts 4.3 million gallons of embalming fluid, 20 million board feet of hardwoods, 64,500 tons of steel for caskets, and 14,000 tons of steel for vaults, 2,700 tons of copper and bronze and 1.6 million tons of concrete in the earth yearly!

Hi Godwyn,

I've been meaning to reach out to you thank you so much for everything you did for me and my family. Having you be there for support, guidance and calmness was exactly what we all needed. I was feeling very overwhelmed. I felt a huge rush of relief that I had someone I could trust by my side.

You handled every element with care, grace and the much-needed directness that I was struggling to offer my family.
You have a gift, Godwyn. And you really did make us feel like we celebrated the great parts of Daniel, even through this tragic loss. You helped me so much. I honestly don't have words to describe the relief I felt when we chatted on the phone that first time.

You knew exactly what to say and when you offered to meet immediately, I was so relieved. Many family members commented on the great job you did. The details of the memorial were excellent as you incorporated just enough catholic traditions for the family members that felt it was important, but not too much where it still celebrated Daniel and what he would've wanted.

Thanks again for everything. You have a special place in my heart, Godwyn.
