• Warm up longer — cold muscles are less pliable.
• Choose grippy footwear (trail or winter-rated shoes) to avoid slips on wet leaves or frost.
• Layer smart — breathable base, insulating mid-layer, wind/rain shell.
• Recover mindfully — longer cooldown, foam rolling for tight calves, and prioritize sleep.

✈️ Heading out for the holidays? Whether you’re driving to visit family or flying across the country, travel can be tough on your back. Small habits make a big difference:

• Lift luggage with your legs (not your back).
• Use a small lumbar roll or towel for back support on long drives.
• Take movement breaks every 30–60 minutes to walk and stretch.
• Pack a small resistance band for simple mobility exercises at your destination.
