Join Joni on Wednesdays at 5pm for a hatha yoga class with emphasis on nervous system regulation. It’s useful, but not limited to those dealing with brain fog, sleep and digestive disturbances, hormonal shifts and/or pain. We want to offer you tools to help combat the overwhelm and burnout that often accompanies navigating our fast paced and demanding world.

Affordable Hatha Yoga with Joni at Poke! Mondays and Fridays 8:30-9:30am. $15-25 sliding scale.

Joni Cooke has been a Registered Shiatsu Therapist for over 30 years, helping people learn about their bodies, release tension and trauma, and find their strength and length. She is a contact dance teacher (and forever student) as well as a serious practitioner of yoga and meditation, both of which she does daily. Joni has the yogi’s intuition and training to help people feel into deep somatic work and pull them out of fight or flight. She can be your ally in doing the inner work that you’ve been “poking into” in the chair with the team of acupuncturists at Poke.

In an effort to balance our sustainability with affordability, we are going to make a change to our sliding scale starting April 10th. Our sliding scale will be $40-70, with an additional $5 admin fee for new patients.

Here's why:

We love what we do. For the past 14 years, we have been providing affordable, accessible and effective acupuncture. And we want to be here, doing this good work, for many more.

Since we opened our doors in 2009, we have only increased our scale once. And the costs of operating our clinic have consistently increased. Unfortunately, the pandemic has been a very challenging time for small businesses, and Poke is no exception. This change in our sliding scale will help ensure we can balance our commitment to affordability with our sustainability. We do not take this lightly, and we understand that this is a big change for some.

We appreciate your understanding and welcome any questions or feedback you may have about this change. If this change is going to prevent you from coming in for treatment, please reach out to us. We are committed to you accessing care.
