Our Story
Vancouver Animal Massage provides therapeutic massage and rehabilitation for animals experiencing muscular degeneration and neurological deficiences throughout the Vancouver area.
Trained primarily in deep tissue massage and utilizing cranio-sacral and Tellington Touch techniques, Nicola Way combines more than 17 years' experience in contributing to the recovery process of rehab and post-surgery patients, optimizing show dogs' mental and physical performances, and enhancing the general well-being of all small animals through influencing positive changes in her animal clients. She is also a FitPAWS Master Trainer using specialized equipment to improve flexibility and strength as part of a rehabilitation regime.
All rehabilitation exercises are performed with authorisation from the referring veterinarian.
Massage can help in maintaining an animal's level of health and fitness by decreasing muscular tension, assist in rehabilitation from an injury or illness, enhance show dogs' performance potential, improve proprioception for those with neurological deficits, and contribute to reducing mental anxiety.
Working animals, elderly pets, healthy athletic animals and companion animals, all benefit from a regular massage routine.
