One more thing I do for sleep .... and then I’ll post the herbal sleep potion that seems to work for everyone! Before I go to sleep, this can be done in bed or anywhere, anytime for that matter. It is called Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as EFT, or tapping. Do not underestimate the power of this practice. It is very effective. I am going to talk about a faster method, tapping on fewer meridian points. In the traditional method there are 9 points. You will only tap on four. It is just like the name says, faster and brings instant results. If you are not familiar with EFT you can research it, just google either Nick Ortner or look at one of my older postings where I posted a video of Nick demonstrating it. In this faster method you tap between and outside the eyebrow, under the eye, collarbone and then take hold of your wrist by wrapping your hand around the other wrist, inhale deeply and exhale, finishing with saying “peace”. This is what I say while doing it. Note that every forward slash indicates tapping on the next meridian point.
Let it go, I let go of all my negative thoughts/ my worries, my doubts/ I let go of my anxieties, my self criticism/ I let go of my judgments, I let it all go ..... hold wrist, inhale, exhale ..... say“peace” Repeat as many times as you need to; add the things that you need to let go. You can do a final round and say, I fill my body with trust, I embrace trust/ I put my trust in the universe, and my body/ trust fills every atom in my body, I trust/ I trust that everything was and is just as it needs to be ..... hold wrist, inhale and exhale and say “peace”. The positive wording I pieced together when Jessica Ortner interviewed Iyanla Vanzant during the recent online tapping summit. And check out the wee bird that Gwen tucked into bed. She is such a wonderful little mother to all her animals and bird friends.
