In one of the virtual pulmonary rehabilitation classes, the Respiratory Therapist (RT) noticed the significant change in step count of one of the participants. Turns out she has a really bad hernia; therefore, she was referred to a surgeon and now she can walk again.

We are proud to be the tool that patient could communicate to her care team and get the timely treatment about the pain no body knew for a long time!

To be able to implement this important point, we need to give tools to facilitate patient/care giver communication and at the same time make the life of caregiver easier by giving her the right information at the right time.

BC is following suite in making it mandatory for making vaccine mandatory for long-term care, assisted living staff. The Provincial Health did a fabulous job vaccinating most people in this industry early this year so very little people are not fully vaccinated.

Nursing home industry's resistance to make the Covid-19 vaccine for their staff is changing by Genesis Healthcare's move today. All Genesis's staff should be vaccinated or lose their jobs. This is a bold and brave move but has a scary side too it too!

Inevitably, many people will choose to leave their jobs, making the already understaffed industry, even more strained. Remote resident monitoring technologies like Agartee can optimize the workload so care homes can increase the staff efficiency with the same or reduced number of resources.

Yes! We also saw this in people with dementia. Behavioural monitoring and coaching works.
