The Protective Patterns of Trauma are never easy and comfortable to work with. It requires showing up for yourself and others in a way that brings out more of your heart ❤️ than you dared.

I am very proud and always amazed at the human spirit and these beautiful healers who showed up and dove deep together.

The feedback of integrating the tools 🧰 is coming in hot off the press and that delights me to hear the effects for their clients are immodest and profound. Thank you to my organizer Julien Chabert, assistant and translator extraordinaire, for being part of the container of safety and guidance.

Many of us always look for the light and when you look for the light you are blinding. We cloak ourselves in spirituality , even becoming therapists for spiritual reasons . That’s all noble but can be dangerous and with great consequences!

If your spiritual practice only helps tolerate discomfort in your life it’s not a practice. It’s a sedative.

If your spiritual practice always involves seeking blissful experiences, it’s not a practice it’s escapism .

If your spiritual practice makes you indifferent to suffering it’s not a practice it’s armour .

If your spiritual practice avoids dealing with your anger and rage it’s not a practice it’s repression.

If your spiritual practice makes you superior to others it’s not a practice. It’s your ego.

If your spiritual practice makes you avoid hard conversations it’s not a practice it’s bypassing.

If you’re spiritual practice helps you meditate your fears. It’s not a practice it’s an avoidance .

If your spiritual practice makes you feel virtuous. It’s not a practice. It’s judgment.

A spiritual practice doesn’t remove you from life. It brings you deeper into it and through it.

When we work with trauma, we will work with people. They show us the light and they show us our darkness. In my work and our workshops, we always look at both equally it’s uncomfortable and sometimes it’s like a slap in the face and hard to digest hard to accept it takes courage, honesty, accountability, and vulnerability.

Our Story

Angel Hands Integrative Centre recognized the need to offer people a different journey to health and wellness. One that put the patient at the centre of the healing with a team of professionals working together, not just existing under the same roof, but dialoguing and sharing insights throughout the whole process. Angel Hands opened its doors providing a range of therapies that offer complementary care to traditional medical practices as well as innovative therapies like Hypnotherapy that deliver fast effective results. They became the first alternative health clinic to be endorsed by a hospital.

Clients from all over the world come to Angel Hands to participate in their Integrative Programs which focus on total transformation. In the last couple of years, Angel Hands has recognized the need to support First Responders and other victims of PTSD by offering innovative treatment plans and by working alongside Emergency Relief organizations. Located in the heart of Vancouver, Canada close to Broadway and Granville.
