Last weekend, WOD Father and HeeHee headed to San Diego to dive deep into the Weck Method—a training approach that improves rotational strength, contralateral coordination, spinal engine mechanics, athletic rhythm, functional strength, durability against injury, and gait and running mechanics.
After a quick 15-second “neuro-prime,” HeeHee hit a deadlift PR on her very first try.
And WOD Father became the 5th person ever to lift the lab’s 200-lb anchor chain from ground to overhead—joining names like instructor Chris Chamberlain and Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs.
He also got a shot at lifting the world’s heaviest kettlebell.
