International Women’s Day is coming up and I was called to create Cedar and Devils Club Moisturizers for some special Matriarchs out home 🥰
Since my community is so remote, shipping services won’t be able to get the gifts to Kitkatla in time. So what do we do? We hand deliver it! It’s a 19 hour drive and a ferry ride to my village. But we must celebrate and honour the wonderful ladies in Gitxaała! Im on my way!
So this means some sporadic hours for Sisters Sage at home. We will be closed Friday Saturday and Sunday but you can find us at the Earl Marriott Pow Wow! I’ll update hours on google, so check in there. You can still order online.

Speaking to a room of Chinese-language media reporters earlier this month, Ken Sim was caught saying that Sean Orr gave out “free drugs” on Christmas.

At the time, Sean was visiting family on the Sunshine Coast.

This disgraceful conduct is the tip of the iceberg. Far-right parties use disinformation and lies to drum up moral panics and divide the working class.

This time, they got caught.

Ken Sim must take accountability for this disgraceful, dishonest, and unethical conduct.

Get • I’m in no way happy to be discussing this. We MUST be able to trust our elected officials, and this is a serious breach of public trust. Cllr. Zhou has placed himself in legal jeopardy, so we have to let this process unfold. I’ve already seen people commenting that he should resign, so we’ll see where this goes.

When your only pathway to victory is lying about your competition, it means that you don’t have a strong platform. Vancouverites deserve better.

The location has not been released yet.

Please note location can be released as late as just before the event starts.

About us

Sisters Sage is Lynn and Melissa, two sisters from the Gitxaala, Nisgaa, and Metis Nations. Together we use our traditional knowledge and ingredients to create beautiful self care and wellness products. All of our handmade soaps are cold-processed and cured at least 6 weeks, Vegan, and palm oil free. Our Smokeless Smudge Spray was created as a convenient “refresher” as we were not allowed to burn our medicines in our basement suite. A popular item! The salves we created with our elders in mind, who would use these sacred ingredients for many ailments. Devils Club is near and dear to us!

Sisters Sage was started with a great need to change our life directions. Melissa was struggling with being pregnant and homeless; unable to find a home during the housing crisis, she felt a desperate need to start something that would be able to support her in all aspects of life. Lynn felt a desperate need to leave her toxic work environment and create something that encouraged her growth culturally, mentally, emotionally, and financially.

After a year of hard work, education, babies, moves, product testing, tears, fights, love, and successes.....Sisters Sage is so proud of how far we have come in our entrepreneur endeavors. To many years more!
