Did you see that had their first water birth at Burnaby Hospital, as part of the pilot project for the Water Birth Policy for all of Fraser Health? Dawn and Jenny and the Burnaby Hospital working group (made up of a pediatrician, an OB, nurses, and many other hospital groups) have worked so hard for the past 18 months to make this happen. Way to go team! Looking forward to more!

Kerry gives a tour of the cervix self screening kit! Needless to say, we are all thrilled. We know not everyone loves a pap, so here is an easy way to screen for cervical cancer! Only a few people who screen positive for HPV high risk strains will need to follow up with a pap by their health care provider!
