If you know me, you know that I love coffee. Like really love it. In fact, the first thing my 3 year old son said to me this morning was "let's go make coffee, momma"🙈⁠

But coffee doesn't love me back. Too much and I feel anxious, easily stressed, and my sleep is negatively affected. So I have to moderate my intake. Plain and simple for me.⁠

I always like to take stock of whether my day-to-day habits are supportive or detrimental to my health. ⁠

One of our dear patient's wonderful daughter, Makeda, is selling cookies this holiday season! Purchasing a box of cookies will go toward helping Makeda, who has Aspartylglucosaminuria, AGU, a rare, fatal, genetic neuro-degenerative disease. A generous portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Rare Trait Hope Society, a charity, that will fund a cure for AGU.

The hip flexors are located at the front of your back... interesting eh? The Psoas Major muscle starts from the front of your lower spine and attaches to the top of your leg bone (femur). This is one factor in why the abdomen is a great place to include in your treatment plan for managing chronic low back pain.
