Anastasiia and Luke caught up with longtime client Cole this week to demo the PAWS power-assist and explore a new TRA chair that might support him at work.

Cole is also a student at Douglas College, and having the right equipment means he can take part in field work, navigate different terrains, and open doors for future job opportunities and internships.

This weekend, we gathered for our annual holiday celebration; a chance to pause, come together, and recognize the people who make everything we do possible.

This year, we were proud to celebrate two incredible team members reaching their 5-year service milestones: Daniel, our Service Manager, and David, our Senior Accessibility Consultant.

⭐ Daniel has spent the past five years transforming our service department into the well-oiled machine it is today. He’s earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues not just through his leadership, but through the kind, steady, genuinely good person he is.

⭐ David has dedicated the last five years to shaping and growing our accessibility stream. His attention to detail and deep care for every client he works with make him a standout in our industry, someone who truly helps make people’s homes and lives work better for them.

At the end of the day, companies don’t succeed because of products or policies, they succeed because of people. Daniel and David continue to build on our past achievements and help shape our future, and we’re so grateful for their dedication, talent, and for choosing to spend their days with us.

WestJet has recently reduced its mobility device weight limit to 300 lb, following an engineering analysis about maximum allowable weight per square inch.

West Jet uses Boeing planes which are one of the most popular planes used by airlines. Yet West Jet is the only North American airline to impose this new weight restriction.

Just when we thought things were about to get better, here we go again. For anyone flying West Jet, be aware of this new policy and we wish you safe and easier travels. ✈️🦽💙

Travellers and advocates say a rule of the Calgary-based airline that bars mobility aids of more than 136 kilograms from most of its planes discriminates against people living with a disability.

Meet Dave — one of the handiest, most impressively skilled clients out there. 🔧🔥

Here he is in his shop with his new front power add-on and custom Ride cushion. His old cushion had completely packed out and wasn’t fitting the way it should, so we set him up with seating that delivers proper support and comfort on his existing chair.

If you look behind him, you’ll spot his Can-Am side-by-side. He’s in the middle of retrofitting it with hand controls so he can keep tearing through the sand in style. The new 2025 model he’s running pushes around 240 hp… and yes, it absolutely rips across beaches and dunes. 🏜️💨

One of the coolest things about Dave?
He’s fabricated his own custom back mount, and has welded titanium and aluminum parts for his chair himself.
