Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Day is coming on Friday October 20th!

But what is DLD? At it's simplest, it is a difficulty understanding and using words and sentences It starts in childhood and doesn't go away.

And that difficulty with words and sentences impacts MASSIVELY on learning, relationships, reading and mental health. So although it might not sound like much, DLD is a big deal. It is really common too, with 2 children in every class of 30 having DLD. They don't know they have it and neither do their families or teachers.

Summer is fast approaching and I have a couple of open spots left for kids that need articulation therapy or literacy support over the school break. This is only for July and August to supplement what they received at school or if they were on a wait-list due to low priority.
Note: I am not taking any long-term clients at the moment.
