Aniin everyone.
We hope you all are well during the holidays.

We wanted to share some Anishinaabe cultural teachings about the winter solstice.

A lot of other Indigenous nations have so many different cultural teachings, ceremonies and practices during this time of year.
And we would love to include these in our solstice teachings too!

So please share in the comments section below, what you and your family practice culturally at this time of year and we will add them.

Chi miigwetch. ❤️

Aniin (hello in Anishinaabe) everyone!

TOYS! TOYS! TOYS!😊

The AIDP team, Trevor, Cindy and Rose would like to share some age appropriate toy information with you and your kiddos! ❤️

Toys, play an important roll in infant/child development for so many reasons.
They encourage gross motor skills, fine motor skills, creativity and culture. But most importantly, they make learning FUN!

Toys can also be a wonderful way of interacting and connecting with your kiddo through play!

If you have any questions or want to know more about this topic,
Please contact AIDP workers:

Cindy Pete: 604-837-2526
