MEN’S HEALTH | AWARENESS
November is Men’s Health Month
This month, we’re shining a light on men’s fertility health because caring for your reproductive health is caring for your overall well-being.
Male fertility is just as important as female fertility yet it’s often overlooked. Around half of all couples who face infertility have at least one male-factor concern, and research shows that average sperm counts have dropped by nearly 50% in developed countries.
Why is this happening?
Modern life plays a big role. Stress, poor sleep, smoking or vaping, heat exposure, environmental toxins, and certain health conditions can all affect sperm quality and count.
The good news? Many of these factors are treatable and reversible with the right lifestyle changes, testing, and support.
Many people don’t realize that infertility isn’t just a women’s issue. In fact, at least 40–50% of couples who experience difficulty conceiving have a contributing male factor such as low sperm count, reduced motility (movement), or abnormalities in sperm shape or function.
Male infertility is common, diagnosable, and often treatable. A semen analysis is a simple first step that can provide important insights and help guide the next steps in your fertility journey.
