SUSHI QUINOA: OFFICIAL PRODUCT LAUNCH

Top Tier Foods Inc. and award winning celebrity chef Hidekazu Tojo, owner of acclaimed restaurant Tojo’s in
Vancouver, BC, are excited to announce the launch of CANADIAN GOLDEN SUSHI QUINOA, a revolutionary
new product for the sushi industry.

To celebrate this launch, Chef Tojo and the President of Top Tier Foods, Blair Bullus will be presenting
samples of Sushi Quinoa to patrons and media attending this year’s TED2017 Conference at the Vancouver
Convention Centre on Wednesday April 26, 2017. Chef Tojo will be available between 10am and 2pm and
Mr. Bullus will be available between 8am and 6pm at the new products showcase outside the main hall.
To correspond with Canada’s 150th Anniversary, Chef Tojo will be unveiling a new special sushi roll made with
100% Canadian Golden Sushi Quinoa that will showcase the best of Canadian agriculture.

SUSHI QUINOA:

Sushi Quinoa is a Canadian grown product that has been a collaborative effort between Vancouver-based Top
Tier Foods, BCIT’s Food Development Program, Victoria-based Wise Coast Foods (a consulting and product
development firm), and the BC Ministry of Agriculture.

Sushi Quinoa looks to revolutionize the sushi industry by advancing a traditional food genre dominated by
nutrient-poor white rice. Sushi Quinoa cooks the same as regular quinoa but has a texture identical to short
grain sushi rice making it a viable option in almost any application that calls for sticky rice, including rolls,
nigiri, rice bowls and even poke.

While the texture has been advanced, Sushi Quinoa has retained all the nutritional benefits that make it a
favorite amongst vast numbers of Canadians. Even when compared directly to brown rice, Sushi Quinoa is
vastly superior. Unlike brown rice, Sushi Quinoa is a complete protein and therefore a suitable alternative for
vegetarians and vegans and contains more fiber than its brown rice counterpart.
