This dynamic introduction to meditation practice kicks off with a presentation focused on the scientific research exploring the neurological effects of meditation on the brain.

Then we move through a series of practical workshops on how to engage with meditation in our everyday lives, off the cushion.

We wrap-up with an exploration of compassion cultivation and its effects on the wider community lead by Magdalena (Magda) Szpala, a Compassion Cultivation Training Teacher, certified by the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University. This is a great opportunity to meet other meditators and to inspire you to put meditation into action!
