No hate for anyone who had tinsel out at 11:59pm on October 31st and has been humming jingle bells since July! I am looking forward to a festive season with loads of baking and crafting and fun! :: happy Mother’s Day - a still life amongst the chaos 💐
while I have plenty to say on the matter of motherhood, frankly I’m just a little too tired. But shout out to all those mother figures navigating their journey with courage, grace, determination, a sense of humour and so much love; it’s a wild ride that’s for sure. And to those who are struggling in this season, I see you, you are not alone and you don’t have to do it alone. Now more than ever we need our village, don’t be afraid to reach out, ask for help, make those connections.
And above all else mamas, remember to be kind to one another and yourselves ❤️

These two give me the courage to show up everyday and do my best. And I am so grateful to those women along my life’s path who have emboldened me, held me, cheered me on and inspired me. I can only hope that I’ve been able to enrich the lives of the women around me too ❤️

Another difficult year trying to piece together some semblance of what we were used to pre, you know, all this. So let’s celebrate the highs and take the lows in stride. It may be a new year around the corner and it may be the same s**t we are dealing with but we’ve got each other.

I haven’t often highlighted where my cards are stocked in my feed, but I intend to more. For one because these small shops are the most convenient way to purchase tip tip tip press, but mostly because I love these little brick + mortar businesses and all they do for their communities and local makers.

This is Redecor + Design 🌊 Sechelt, BC] - my first stockist on the coast, which has been my new home for a little over a year. Owner Ashley is a dedicated shop keep, a talented designer + curator + artist and a genuinely kind human with a passion for community and advocacy. My heart sang when I first visited her shop at its old location. It gave me such sweet memories of when my mom, sister and I first opened . It also filled my mind with inspiration, which isn’t hard because Redecor is filled with treasures! From handpicked vintage & antiques to thoughtfully curated local makers, accompanied by beautiful art from talented artists.

I am so grateful to Ashley for adding Tip Tip Tip Press to her selection of local greeting cards. If you live on the coast or are visiting, be sure to add Redecor + Design 🌊 Sechelt, BC] to your stop. The new location (right next door to the old) is bigger and is a feast for the eyes. With unique displays, a blood-sweat-and-tears-show-stopper of a ceiling and a stunning mural by artist - Redecor is a must see local shop!
