Dermaplaning is NOT the same as shaving your face. And if you have been avoiding this amazing treatment because you fear the regrowth of hair - please continue reading: 🤔💕

Dermaplaning uses a surgical blade to scrape off the skin at a controlled manner (it’s held at a 45 degree angle to remove dead skin cells) allowing for a smoother, fresh new skin texture.

As there are very fine hairs present on the surface of the skin, called vellus hairs, the scrapping motion of our surgical blade used during Dermaplaning also rids the skin of those fine hairs making the skin even smoother, more radiant and more absorbent of products that are applied during your treatment. 😃

Although the removal of hair isn’t the main focus during this treatment, and the scrapping motion does not effect its regrowth (no, your hair won’t grow back ticker!), the results are definitely enhanced because these hairs are no longer present after dermaplaning. 👏😌✨
