Message from the CEO.
To our Iranian colleagues,
We know that this is an incredibly difficult and heavy time for many in the Iranian community. When events unfolding far away affect people you love, your sense of safety, or your connection to home, that weight doesn’t stay at the door when you come to work. It comes with you, quietly and persistently.
Please know that you are seen, valued, and cared for here at Louis Brier. You are not just members of our workforce, you are an important part of our community. Your professionalism, compassion, and commitment to residents and families do not go unnoticed, especially when showing up each day may require more strength than usual.
We want you to know that it is okay to feel distracted, worried, sad, or overwhelmed. There is no expectation to carry this alone or to simply “push through.” If you need time, flexibility, space to talk, or support of any kind, we encourage you to reach out to your leader or to Human Resources. We will do our best to meet you with understanding and care.
Louis Brier is built on values of dignity, respect, and humanity. In moments like these, those values matter even more. We stand with you in compassion and solidarity, and we hope you feel the support of your colleagues around you.
Please take care of yourselves and one another. Our thoughts are with you, your families, and all those affected during this painful time.
Thanks,
Dr. David Keselman, MN, DHA, CHE, RN
