💎 Regulate your nervous system? I prefer to call it ‘befriend’ your nervous system
💎 My first event: Me? The centre of attention? No way…And loving it?
💎 I was truly passionate about what I had to share, I didn’t rehearse, I didn’t prepare a script, I stepped into the metaphorical shoes of someone who feels ‘comfortable’ talking in groups….far from the ‘old’ Gemma
💎 But, what’s important to remember is that the version of me who was able to speak to a group with confidence was in there all along- I just had to peel back the layers of self-doubt to find her but she was always there, I found her by doing the inner work on my subconscious beliefs about myself, meditation, breath-work, by learning how to befriend my own nervous system
💎 Just like the truth of who you are is still there under the pain and emotional trauma you may be experiencing in the present moment- that’s what I can help you with- finding you, again 🐦🔥
