If you want to boost the protein of a warm and cozy bowl of oatmeal, you need to try this:

Ingredients:
1/3 cup large flake oats
1/3 cup milk, or plant-based beverage
1/3 cup water
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 banana, sliced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

-In a small pot, combine the oats, milk and water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Cook until the oats have almost completely absorbed all of the liquid.
-While the oats are cooking, whisk the egg in a separate small bowl.
-Increase the heat of the oat mixture to medium-high. Slowly add in the whisked egg, stirring constantly. Continue until the oats and egg are well incorporated and the egg is cooked (you will see the egg turn white).
-Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
-Transfer the oatm-egg mixture to a small bowl and top with peanut butter, banana, blueberries and cinnamon. Feel free to add any additional toppings you like and enjoy!
