My name is Cristian, I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. OCD is loud, convincing, and relentless but it is not honest. It tells stories built on fear, not truth. It takes your values, twists them, and then holds them up as evidence against you. It says, “If you thought this, it must mean something about who you are.” But thoughts are not identity. Intrusive thoughts are not confessions. They are noise unwanted, uninvited, and often the exact opposite of what you stand for.
