If you’re purchasing compression socks for the first time you might be wondering what mmHg is?

It stands for millimetres of mercury and is used to measure pressure. For compression socks, the smaller the numbers (8-15mmHg) the less pressure they will apply to your legs.

It’s not recommended to use a sock with a pressure over 30 mmHg unless prescribed by a doctor.
