Bananas are one of the most underrated wellness staples 🍌

Simple, affordable, and packed with nutrients that support energy, digestion, and recovery. They’re rich in potassium for muscle function, vitamin B6 for metabolism, and natural carbohydrates that give your body quick, usable fuel.

Here are 3 simple tips to get the most out of them:

1️⃣ Eat one before a workout for steady energy and better performance.
2️⃣ Pair it with protein (like nut butter) to keep blood sugar balanced and stay fuller longer.
3️⃣ Choose slightly green for slower digestion and gut support, or more ripe for quick energy and easier digestion.

Bananas aren’t “too high in sugar.” They’re a whole food your body knows how to use when paired properly.

Do you prefer your bananas green, perfectly yellow, or extra ripe? 🍌👇

Mid-week check in with yourself…💚

Do you find yourself overeating on certain days?
Do you notice patterns or specific triggers that set it off?

Cravings don’t just “happen.” They’re often a sign your body isn’t properly fueled or supported during the week.

🌱 Here’s how to stay ahead of it:

• Don’t leave the house starving.
• Focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods.
• Stop skipping meals! This almost always leads to late-night overeating.
• Keep a simple, balanced snack with you.
• Add protein to every meal to stay fuller longer.
• Drink your water! Thirst is often mistaken for hunger.
• And yes, enjoy your favourite foods in moderation. Restriction fuels cravings.

It doesn’t have to be complicated. When you nourish your body consistently, weekend “binges” lose their power.

If you’re ready to understand your triggers and build a realistic plan that actually works for your lifestyle, send me a DM. I’d love to support you 💚

How many of us have a pantry full of “healthy” foods… but still feel inflamed, bloated, or low on energy?

Many people buy what social media tells them is good. They stock up on trending ingredients and still feel bloated, inflamed, low on energy, or confused about what actually works for the body.

Is pasta really “bad”?

Not at all. It’s about quality, balance, and portion awareness, not guilt.

You can absolutely enjoy pasta and feel good afterward. When you choose nourishing ingredients and build a balanced plate, pasta becomes part of a healthy lifestyle, not something to avoid.

🍝 I often choose chickpea or black bean pasta. They’re naturally gluten-free, higher in fiber, and contain plant-based protein to help keep you fuller longer. They also provide minerals like iron, magnesium, and folate, and tend to support steadier blood sugar compared to traditional refined pasta.

Healthy eating isn’t about restriction. It’s about smarter choices that leave you energized and satisfied.

🌱 If you’re ready for simple guidance on what to eat, how to portion your meals, and how to feel confident in your choices, my Point Me in the Right Direction Plan is designed to give you clarity and structure without overwhelm.

Happy Family Day 🤍

Today is a beautiful reminder that life isn’t meant to be rushed.

We live in a world that constantly pushes productivity, results, and always being on the go. But true health is built in the quiet moments…sitting with a warm cup of tea, laughing with family, stepping away from your phone, and allowing yourself to simply be. That’s when your body and mind reset.

Remember, we can’t pour from an empty cup. When we slow down and refill mentally, emotionally, and physically, we show up better for the people we love and for ourselves.

Rest isn’t falling behind.
Being present isn’t lazy.
Slowing down is strength.

Today, give yourself permission to pause. What’s one small way you’re choosing to be present? 🤍

This beet + mint smoothie isn’t just vibrant in colour, it’s powerful for circulation and digestion ❤️🌿

Beets are rich in natural nitrates, which help support healthy blood flow and oxygen delivery throughout the body. Better circulation can mean improved energy, endurance, and even mental clarity. They also provide fiber to support gut health and gentle detoxification.

Mint does more than add freshness, it helps calm the digestive tract, reduce bloating, and support smoother digestion. Pairing the two creates a refreshing combination that supports both your cardiovascular system and your gut.

This is what intentional nutrition looks like: ingredients chosen for how they make you feel, not just how they taste.

Simple blend idea:
• 1 small cooked or raw beet
• Handful fresh mint
• Frozen berries
• Unsweetened coconut water
• Optional: squeeze of lemon

Small daily additions like this can create powerful long-term shifts.

Unhealed trauma doesn’t just live in memories. It can quietly settle into the body over time. The body remembers what the mind tries to push aside. When pain isn’t acknowledged, it can begin to affect your energy, your stress response, your muscles, your digestion, and your overall sense of balance.

This isn’t about fear…it’s about awareness! 🍃🤍
Healing is not only emotional. It’s physical. It’s daily choices that calm your nervous system, nourish your body, and create safety from the inside out.

You are not “too sensitive.”
You are not “just tired.”
Your body may simply be asking to be supported differently.

If you’re ready to stop pushing through and start rebuilding from the root, my 28 Day Reset is designed to help you restore energy, reduce inflammation, and create structure that supports real healing, not quick fixes.

Spaghetti squash is one of those staples I love having prepped, it’s simple, versatile, and easy on digestion 🤍
One bake can turn into multiple meals throughout the week without feeling repetitive.

🍝 Simple spaghetti squash base:
• Roast spaghetti squash until tender and stringy
• Toss with olive oil, sea salt, and garlic
• Top with a simple tomato sauce (tomatoes, olive oil, herbs, simmered low and slow)

From there, you can use it all week! Add ground turkey or chicken for protein, sautéed greens, or enjoy it just as is when you want something light but nourishing.

Meals don’t need to be complicated to be supportive. Building a simple base like this helps you stay consistent, save time, and nourish your body without stress.

This is what sustainable eating looks like! Real food, prepared once, supporting you all week 🌿

Moving my body is no longer about pressure or chasing an ideal. It’s an act of love. 💕
Each morning, I thank God for the ability to move, to breathe, and to care for the body He entrusted to me.

Movement supports strength, energy, mood, digestion, and long-term health, but just as importantly, it reminds me to slow down and honour what my body can do today. Walking, stretching, strength training, gentle movement…there is no one right way. There is only showing up with intention.

When movement comes from love & gratitude instead of pressure, consistency feels easier and health becomes sustainable. This is how real change happens 🤍

If you’re ready to reconnect with your body, rebuild your energy, and create habits that truly last, my “I’m Ready to Take Back My Life” package is here to support you.

Send me a message or book a call to find the right path for you 🤍

Frozen berries, a sweet snack that still supports blood sugar balance. They aren’t just for smoothies, they’re one of the smartest staples to keep on hand. When you freeze berries yourself, you know exactly what you’re getting: real fruit, no added sugars, no preservatives, no unnecessary ingredients.

That frozen texture matters. It turns simple meals into something satisfying and refreshing. Toss them on top of dairy-free yogurt, blend them into a smoothie bowl, or enjoy them straight from the freezer with coconut flakes for a naturally sweet snack.

The convenience is just as powerful. Having berries ready to go makes nourishing choices effortless, especially on busy days when reaching for something quick is tempting.

Simple swaps like this make healthy eating sustainable, not complicated.
Which way are you adding frozen berries this week?

Ever notice how eating clean is often labeled as “too much,” “extreme,” or “unrealistic”? That’s not by accident.

An industry that profits from sickness doesn’t benefit from people who read labels, cook at home, ask questions, and choose foods that support their body. So instead, clean eaters get mocked. Minimized. Made to feel difficult or dramatic.

When your choices don’t fit the system, the system tries to convince you that you’re the problem.

But choosing whole foods, nourishing your body, and caring about your health isn’t obsessive, it’s informed. It’s preventative. It’s powerful. And it’s often uncomfortable for a world built on convenience over well-being.

If you’ve ever felt judged for prioritizing your health, let this be your reminder:
You’re not “too much.” You’re just paying attention.

If you’re ready to support your health intentionally, without guilt, extremes, or noise, send me a message. I’d love to help you build sustainable habits that work in real life, not against it.
