Caregiver Spotlight: Meet Afia 💜

Afia is one of our dedicated Personal Support Workers at Opulife, and a compassionate presence for the clients and families she supports.

She enjoys caregiving because it allows her to provide companionship and emotional support, knowing that even small moments of connection can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Afia takes pride in creating a supportive and reassuring environment where clients feel valued, respected, and cared for.

What motivates Afia most is working alongside leaders who stay connected with their teams and show genuine commitment to both staff and client well-being. This inspires her to provide thoughtful, high-quality care every day.

When working with families, Afia hopes they feel peace of mind, knowing their loved one is supported by someone who truly cares.

For many families, caregivers like Afia make it possible for their loved ones to continue living safely and comfortably at home.

Outside of work, Afia enjoys watching movies and sports as a way to relax and recharge.

We showed up in the evening as Team ADL All Stars, alongside a community that truly cares about supporting individuals living with acquired brain injuries and the families who walk that journey with them.
