From patient to partner in change. 💙

Years ago, I had the privilege of treating an incredible cleft lip and palate patient. Today, he’s taken his journey even further by accepting a position with Operation Smile—turning his personal experience into advocacy and impact for others around the world.

Recently, we had the opportunity to share that journey together during a lecture for students at the University of Waterloo. It was a powerful reminder that medicine isn’t just about treatment—it’s about stories, resilience, and the ripple effect of giving back.

So proud to see this full-circle moment and excited for all the lives he will continue to touch. 🌍✨
