Today Is💜 Epilepsy Awareness Day 💜 and as we recognize many family members and friends who deal with this condition at different severities we want to turn the spot light to the reason Little One's Aqua Therapy opened. This beautiful soul ! Michaela suffers from epilepsy among many many other things and is only 3.5 years old. We met Michaela when she was 6 months old and since then she has always shined so bright and is one of the strongest girls we know. When you see her smile the entire rooms lights up and she teaches us that amongst the chaos, the challenges, the pain we always have something to fight for and smile about! Today beautiful, we celebrate you!

Touch: the first sense to develop
🤗We are launching our INFANT + CHILD MASSAGE GUIDE for Parents, Grandparents, +Guardians🥳

Massage is a great tool that you can quickly learn and have a new way to bond, interact and grow with your little one!

Parts of the somatosensory system start to develop only a few weeks after conception.

By week 8 of pregnancy, your baby has developed touch receptors in their face — mostly on his lips and nose — which are connected to their growing brain.

Over the next few months, touch receptors start to form in other places throughout your baby’s body — their ge****ls, palms and the soles of their feet by week 12 and the full abdomen by week 17.

By week 32 every part of a fetus has gained a sense of touch that’s sensitive enough to feel a single hair brushing across the body.
