Guided by principles of compassion, respect, and dignity, the Centre’s mission reflects our shared commitment to serve those who once served us. Every resident, staff member, and volunteer plays a part in preserving the legacy of Canada’s veterans through daily acts of care and gratitude.

UniversalCare has proudly committed $50,000 to support the York Region Mental Health Community Care Centre – a groundbreaking space set to open in 2027 that will provide 24/7, walk-in mental health and addictions care for individuals aged 12 and up.

This Centre will be a place of safety, dignity, and real support – eliminating barriers and helping ensure that a person’s first mental health crisis can also be their last.

We’re honoured to contribute to this important initiative and stand alongside CMHA York Region South Simcoe in building a healthier, more compassionate future for our communities.

Happy Italian Heritage Month! 🇮🇹

At Villa Colombo Vaughan, Italian culture is part of our everyday life - and moments like these remind us why.

Yesterday, we held our annual Alfredo DeGasperis Bocce Tournament, bringing together residents, families, staff, board members, and members of the community for a day full of laughter, connection, and tradition.
