UniversalCare is proud to operate the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care, a home dedicated to providing the highest quality of long-term care for veterans, their families, and the broader community.

Guided by principles of compassion, respect, and dignity, the Centre’s mission reflects our shared commitment to serve those who once served us. Every resident, staff member, and volunteer plays a part in preserving the legacy of Canada’s veterans through daily acts of care and gratitude.

An inspiring evening of unity and faith at the 46th Annual Cardinal’s Dinner.

Thank you to His Eminence, Cardinal Frank Leo, for leading a night that reminds us of the strength of community and service.

His Eminence stated that “Every one of us has a role to play in building the world we want to live in, the world we want to leave behind, and indeed a world God so desires”.

UniversalCare has proudly committed $50,000 to support the York Region Mental Health Community Care Centre – a groundbreaking space set to open in 2027 that will provide 24/7, walk-in mental health and addictions care for individuals aged 12 and up.

This Centre will be a place of safety, dignity, and real support – eliminating barriers and helping ensure that a person’s first mental health crisis can also be their last.

We’re honoured to contribute to this important initiative and stand alongside CMHA York Region South Simcoe in building a healthier, more compassionate future for our communities.
