As Vice President of The Kayde Foundation (Candice Anderson), I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Alexa, along with the stories of our board members and community, surrounding their journeys through loss and infertility. Alexa has beautifully embodied taking personal loss and transforming it into something good, honoring the light of those we’ve lost by helping others find hope. 💛

It is a true honor to have nominated her and to work alongside her in bringing such an important need to light. Her compassion, strength, and dedication inspire everyone around her.

I am truly honored to be nominated for Volunteer of the Year and the Customer Service Award for Small Business. To be recognized alongside so many incredible individuals and businesses in our community is such a privilege.

Everything I do is made possible by the amazing people who surround me: my supportive team at Reflections, my wonderful family, and the incredible volunteers I have the privilege to work alongside.

It’s an honor to serve Vermilion and our surrounding communities, both in my role as a funeral director and through work with organizations such as The Kayde Foundation, Walking Through Grief, the Underwater Search Team, and the Alberta Funeral Services Association.

Thank you for the continued encouragement and trust, it means more than words can express.
