Sounds good to me!😊

If you’ve been craving a different kind of holiday, one that loves you back, save this and come back to it when things get loud 🤗.

Also, pass this along to your loved ones so you can set the tone together ✨.

I have learned that the holidays do not need more pressure, they need more presence 🧡.

So this year, I’m practicing tiny anchors that bring me back to what I truly want:

✔️ more connection
✔️ more ease
✔️ more joy
✔️ food that tastes amazing and still lets me feel like myself tomorrow

Before I walk into a gathering, I take three slow breaths and soften my shoulders 😌.

At the table, I choose food that I genuinely enjoy AND nourishes my body, then I pause long enough to notice when I’ve had enough 🍲.

After, I do something gentle that helps my body digest, a short walk, a cup of tea, a little stretch, then I go back to the people I came for 🍵.

Which affirmation are you claiming this season? 🎄

Well said!❤️

Well said!❤️

Raise your hand if you already know you’re about to hear at least one of these lines at your first holiday gathering. 🙋‍♀️🎄

All these sentences pop out like it’s part of the carol playlist. 😅

🍨 "I probably shouldn’t have this, but it’s the holidays, it doesn’t count."
🚗 "Sorry it’s late, I’m the worst at being on time."
🛋 "I've been a couch potato over the holidays, but I’ll just start fresh in January."

Now, here’s the thing, our words set the tone.

A tiny sentence swap can turn a moment of self judgment into self respect.

It can turn a rushed entrance into genuine connection.

And it can turn body commentary into a compliment that lands as love.

This season, let’s trade default phrases for intentional ones.
More presence.
More warmth.
More meaning in the room.

Which one do you hear the most at gatherings? And which “try this” line are you stealing for your next holiday get together? 💬✨

Love those ideas!😊

Love those ideas!😊

When it’s only November and our backyard is already completely white from an early big snowfall, it’s easy to feel daunted by the long winter ahead ❄️😮‍💨...

With darker evenings and colder days, it’s totally normal to feel more stressed, low in energy, or blue right now.

That’s why I created this “Coping Skills for Canadian Winters” alphabet as a gentle reminder that tiny cozy rituals can have a big impact on how you feel.

👉 Save this as your go-to toolkit for those days when the cold, darkness, or stress feel like a lot.

From a warm tea and book moment 🍵📖, to snowy play outside ⛄️, a pyjama day, knitting or crocheting 🧶, lighting a candle 🕯️, or sinking into a warm bath 🛁, there’s something here for every kind of winter mood.

This season, let’s not just “push through” winter.

Let’s build in daily practices that bring warmth, calm, and comfort to our nervous system, so we can feel more grounded and resilient until the snow melts again 😌.

Which coping skill from the alphabet will you enjoy? 💬

Does your blood flow need a boost? 💪❤️Nitric oxide might sound like something from a chemistry class, but your body makes it every day—and it’s key for circulation and heart health.

When nitric oxide levels are high, blood vessels relax and widen, improving oxygen delivery to your brain, muscles and organs. That means better energy, stamina and recovery.

Top foods to boost nitric oxide:
• Beets & Beet Powder – Nature’s nitric oxide powerhouse
• Leafy greens – Spinach, arugula, kale and Swiss chard
• Citrus & pomegranate – Antioxidants help nitric oxide last longer
• Garlic – Supports healthy blood flow
