We are located in central Victoria, just past the intersection of Cook & Yates.

We welcome with all the midwife love in the whole crazy world Rhea, Kalliope, Bea, and Sabrina!!!!
Fun fact- when 4 TMC midwives announced pregnancies over a 2 month period, we joked there was something in the clinic water. Turns out it was very specific 💦indeed, as each labour began with a PROM- and ended with a perfect baby girl.
We are over the moon for Meg, Kelsey, Sarah, Maha- and of course auntie Maheen, shown here loving up all the TMC babies like the baby whisperer she is.
We ❤️these families so much and can’t wait to see what these little ones have in store for us all.

What a wild-weathered week! With the snow storm came difficultly checking on our families this week! Midwives in Victoria worked together to ensure all babies and families got their vital check ups and birthing people got a midwife! We are so grateful for Midwife Maghan who helped us out and SNOWSHOED(!!) to round on our teams’ fresh babies in her neighbourhood. What a hero- thank you!!

We LOVE getting to pose for photos with our gorgeous “catches.” Thank you to Lindsay for this lovely photo of midwife Kelsey & baby Gwen. It was graduation day for Gwen- wouldn’t it be great if we had some cap & gowns for our last visit? (Or even better than that- extended care for her whole 4th trimester!)

Fall has arrive with a blustery birth storm! 🍃🍁🍂💨
Sage Team was busy welcoming cuties like little Lochlann here (with Midwife Jenny) born within 20 mins between a set of twins- apparently all of these peanuts wanted to grace the world with their presence at once…..and keep us midwives on our toes! 🏃🏻‍♀️😉

Your midwives have been so busy today- so many pregnant people, labouring persons, new families out there.
But driving around our little city, racing from one home to the next, we are overwhelmed by the sight of so many people in orange shirts, and by the sound of drumming in the distance.
We are grateful today and everyday to work on these lands, and recommit ourselves today and everyday to truth & reconciliation, decolonization, anti-racism, and equity.

You know autumn has arrived when the pumpkin hats come out…
True story: these lovely hand knit baby hats are dropped off regularly by a local woman who comes in, leaves us hats, and disappears.
Today our amazing MOA Julia had just enough time to say, “thank you!” and “who are you?” before our secret knitter slipped back out the front door.
She told Julia that her name is Iris, and she’s a grandma, so she knows how it is. Which clearly is that: one cannot have too many hand knit baby hats. Especially of the pumpkin variety.
Thank you, Iris! And - come on by babies and get your hats!

A glorious welcome to midwife Jenny Jackson, who is working with Ali & Sarah on the Sage Team!
Many of you will recognize Jenny, who was our Senior UBC Midwifery Student this past year. After spending several months working alongside her, we were just too deep in love to let her go. So, we asked her to stay:)
When not catching babies, Jenny can be found tending her farm in the Cowichan Valley (ask her about her adorable pig) and studying the Hul’q’umi’num language.

Welcome back, Frances!!!!
We are thrilled to welcome midwife Frances Millerd back to TMC! Frances is currently studying for the LC exam, and her practice is exclusively breast/chest feeding support. We are so glad she can join Dr Emma Noble in providing clinically astute & emotionally sensitive breastfeeding medicine not just to TMC clients but to the entire community.
Frances can be seen on Fridays at TMC - and she also does home visits in the early postpartum.
So many of our clients benefit from extra support around infant feeding- it’s so often a bumpy road, especially at the outset. We’re so glad to have you back, Frances!
