Thank you Lisa for letting me know about the fifth memorial walk in honour of Andre Courtemanche
" Andre's family has created the Andre Courtemanche Green Ribbon Scholarship β a $1,000 grant for students who have experienced mental health issues in their first or second year of college or university. The money raised at this yearβs memorial walk will go towards supporting mental health causes, including the scholarship program"
I'm truly amazed with the parents of Andre (Denise and Glenn) who have put this walk together to help break the stigma around mental health
I learned more about some great organizations that were there in support of this event:

Check them out for more info about their amazing work!
"We have to start treating mental health like physical health with empathy, urgency and support," said Glenn. "Talk to each other, check in, be there β really there β for someone."
