For a show about gay men, I also feel like I could write a thesis on how it portrays women 😂. They don’t fall into the typical stereotypes we see constantly. Instead we see them being genuine, caring friends, loving but flawed parents, intelligent sports loving people. Imagine that, women are varied and complex!

Emotional tolerance isn’t about forcing yourself to “be positive” or pretending things don’t hurt. It’s about expanding your capacity to stay present with discomfort, to notice the tight chest, the lump in your throat, the grief, the fear, without immediately trying to fix, numb, or escape it.
