IT band “tightness” is usually the feeling, not the problem👇🏼
A lot of what we see is actually IT band enthesopathy — irritation where the tissue attaches to bone.
That’s why rolling and stretching only help temporarily.... They don’t improve blood flow, stimulate healing, or reduce irritation at the attachment site.
What actually works:
✔️reduce irritation and support healing (EMTT, shockwave)
✔️ build strength + control — so the leg can better absorb and distribute load during movement
Ongoing symptoms mean something hasn’t been properly assessed or addressed.
