Stephanie Lewis Rmt Registered Massage Therapist
Advanced Level III Reiki practitioner A bit about me and my treatment approach. Breathing is also a key component of health.

I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. I started with relaxation massage treatments over 20 years ago. Massage introduced me to energy work and I became a Level III Reiki practitioner in 2003. A common thread through both modalities was the space created and time spent with a person which led me to become a good active listener. In 2005 I completed the Integrated Clinical Counselling Program. I am an athlete with a background in running and triathlon. With this passion for sport, I became a running and triathlon coach and have helped people unleash their potential for over 10 years. With the same passion I have for sport I feel massage is another wonderful way of supporting people to be their best self, through better health. Each person is received with personal care and concern for their wellbeing. I honor them by creating and holding space in order to facilitate their own healing journey. I offer a variety of techniques and work with the person to determine the best method of treatment by spending time and getting to know them and their wish for ongoing health. Some of the methods used may include Swedish massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization, active engagement, and stretch. Massage can help you release muscle tension, reduce stress, aid in better sleep, increase mobility and help you find the joy in your life again! Whether you are an athlete coming back from an injury, have a specific health concern, or just want to decompress from everyday life I can personalize your time with me. Treatments generally end with the discussion of the next steps and may include exercise, strength, and or stretch routine.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 is a day to honour the children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities. It is also a day to reflect on our shared history and take meaningful action toward reconciliation.

The Invictus Games blew me away and I left with my cup and heart full. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›
The commeraderie and respect(and hugging)between competing Nations teams was inspiring and heart warming.

The support and love the competitors received from their family,friends ๐Ÿงก and the volunteers was priceless. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›

I will cherish the memories and โค๏ธ connections I've made with the athletes, the med team and other volunteers. According to volunteers that have been to many sport events, this was very unique , it was raw, unfiltered and it had heart โค๏ธ ALOT of it.
I will be forever grateful to have had this opportunity. ๐Ÿ™
Some highlights;
meeting(and hugging) many of the Denmark ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ team, acting as a first responder and only handing out a band-aid, seeing USA S. win his swim heat, meeting Rick Hansen, watching the Gold wheelchair rugby game, seeing Prince Harry (from a distance), the PADS puppies and connections made with other medical professionals from all over the world.

Also, Kirk took me for dinner after my last shift and we explored Vancouver a bit. ๐Ÿ’œ
