Good Medicine - Indigenous Outreach In Lekwungen language there is a term known as 'Good Medicine' work that is done in the community.

This is true of Indigenous Outreach Workers who connect with people who are suffering trauma/homelessness helping elevate spirits & find housing for people.

December 18, 2020 - Christie of ACEH and I shouldered up for one of our first outreach excursions together - to offer supports to a few people we heard of who are homeless and trying to find cover in safe spaces. Christie provided warm jackets and I provided a tent care of the HART. We also followed up with Connections Place E.D., Chris who is also a strong advocate for the homeless/vulnerable sector population! Team work makes the dream work!
