The whole “I struggled better than you, so you should do better” mindset just enrages me. You would think someone who in fact struggles with their mental health would have gained some compassion along the way? Don’t even get me started on how not everyone has the financial, geographical, etc. Means to get medical attention/help. ESPECIALLY when there is this layer of shame and guilt in doing so BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE THIS. So yes, I’ll carry on doing what I do which actually helps people. 🫶🏻🙄
