One minute I’m putting up decorations for my son’s birthday and the next I’m giving my beloved cat CPR and saying my goodbyes. I am a mess right now. Ten years I’ve had my personal “hot water bottle” to sleep with, purring away on my chest. My emotional support animal. Last night was quiet and cold without him. I’m just so sad. But today I must smile, celebrate my son’s birthday without him knowing that just hours before I had to bury a piece of my heart. ♥️😭
