At Y Mind the groups focus on learning and doing, not just talking. Participants gain coping strategies, relaxation techniques, and self-management tools they can use outside the session to support lasting growth.
They can build self-efficacy, boosts accountability, and reinforce learning through shared practice.
Through that practice it can improve social confidence, strengthen relationships, and normalize conversations about mental health.
It is about more than sharing information — it’s about creating a space where people feel safe to learn, connect, and grow together.

Mental health challenges shouldn’t get in the way of doing what you love. Our programs help overcome barriers and get you on the right track to where you’d like to be. Come and join us!
We give participants a supportive place to connect with others who share similar struggles. Being surrounded by people who “get it” helps reduce feelings of isolation and builds a sense of belonging
Participants can practice skills in real time — which is especially helpful for those managing social anxiety. Interactive learning helps participants connect the material to their own lives and encourages mutual support.

Our Spring groups are now open for registration.

Tired of trying to control everything and ready to practice acceptance of imperfection, unpredictability and self-awareness. Are you seeking moments that feel grounded in connection, and alive with possibility?
We are inviting you to show up as you are, discover something unexpected, and leave feeling part of something real. It’s about presence, participation, and the power of what can only happen in “here and now” moments creating genuine, shared experiences. Moving away from endless, insignificant, “Instagrammable” moments.
In a world of doomscrolling and bed rotting, we foster real-world connections, initiating gatherings where you can observe and engage at your own pace. Set boundaries and focus on meaningful connections rather than superficial ones. It's about being present, breaking routine, and creating experiences tied to deeper connections, moving towards authenticity and community.
Purposefully gathering outside of a digitally saturated world where the noise of it disappears from your mind. It's about being fully present and embracing an experience that feels unique. Hopefully it's something you'll remember for years and with continued practice will deepen engagement in your journey through life.

Tuck this in your back pocket for this holiday season...

Connecting with the present moment: Direct attention in an intentional way rather than by mere habit, noticing what is present here and now, inside us and out.
Acceptance: Allow ourselves to feel even when the feelings are painful or create a sense of vulnerability.
Defusion: See our thoughts with enough distance that we can choose what we do next, regardless of our mind's chatter.
Observing Self: Notice the story we've constructed of ourselves and gain perspective about who we are.
Values: Choose the qualities of being and doing that we want to evolve toward.
Committed Action: Create habits that support these choices.

For a deeper dive into these concepts, join us this winter!
