Meet the team!
We have a great team here at Aaronson's Pharmacy. To give you a chance to get to know us, we will be posting interviews with our staff over the next few weeks. Stay tuned to get to know more team members.
First up ........ Luke!

What year did you start working at Aaronson's Pharmacy?
I started full time after graduating high school in 2003.
What is your role?
Besides being the majority shareholder, I am a Pharmacy Technician who focuses on the supervision of the day to day compounding to ensure product safety, quality and consistency.
What do you love most about your job? Why is that?
I find the most satisfying part of my job is when I see a product that I have made for a patient help them with their condition. I feel good leaving every day knowing I have made compounded products to the best of my ability providing quality that I would expect to see from any professionally hand made product.
What is a hobby you love?
I like to grow vegetables, nothing like eating food you have grown for yourself. I also like to cook, although I really only have time for that on the weekends, but if there is a dinner we are planning I am usually the one cooking it.
Tell us a bit about your family:
I started in this business with my father, who was a pharmacist and sole owner until I purchased 10% of the company off him in 2010. Then, sadly he passed. My brothers and I were given the remainder of shares from him. I hope to pass down some of his legacy to my three children one day.
What is one thing you can't live without?
Coffee!!
What is one piece of advice would you give yourself 20 years ago?
Work harder in school. Do your homework. Don't stress the small stuff, but don't be afraid to make bold moves. Making mistakes means you are trying.
If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Leffe
Three words that describe you:
Content, introverted and funny.
What is one thing you do EVERYDAY that is important to you?
Brush my teeth and comb my beard.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who should be cast as you?
Zack Galifianakus.
Do you recall any embarrassing moment at work?
I got stuck in the bathroom without toilet paper. Had to text a coworker.
People would be surprised if they knew:
Hmmm. People would be surprised at how approachable I actually am, I may come off a bit grumpy, but actually just shy.
What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with Aaronson's Pharmacy?
Steady healthy growth.
What is on your bucket list?
Travel more, experience more cultures, eat/try new things.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Inconsideration for others. Bad drivers.
What food do you wish had zero calories?
Pizza and pasta.
