Common Sense Orthotics has been providing medical Custom Foot Orthotics for 17 years, since 1992. We provide foot orthotic solutions for work, athletic, dress, and everyday applications. We accept patient referrals from Family and Clinic Doctors, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Rheumatologists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Naturopaths, Osteopaths, and other medical and rehabilitation professionals. Our orthotics can address a host of foot and kinetic chain related symptoms and conditions. Located centrally in Victoria, we are easily accessible for local, Vancouver Island, Canadian Gulf Islands, Vancouver, Seattle, and Olympic Penninsula clients. With our on-premise orthotic lab, we offer prompt, dependable service by our Certified Pedorthist, Bill Goers. Common Sense Orthotics is a certified supplier for the Department of Veterans Affairs, First Nation's Health, and Provincial Disability Health Assistance.

Covid-19 Update:

The health and safety of our community is our highest priority. With that in mind, we have set June 8 as our reopening date, and we are taking appointments now.

Following Provincial Worksafe Guidelines, we have established new safety protocols that allow us to confidently assess and serve clients on a one-to-one basis.

Additional measures include:

Clinic and equipment sanitization before and after each client visit

Hand sanitization, as well as a glove and mask station at the entry.

One client in the clinic at a time

Emphasis on physical distancing

Contactless payment

Was visited recently by a long time client who works in the kitchen of a busy restaurant here in Victoria. On the left are the orthotics I made for them 20 years ago. On the right the fresh custom set they walked away with. Happy feet I am sure. Got me to thinking about how many orthotics I have made over the past 27 years. I have no idea!
